Loweswater Lodge in Ambleside
Loweswater Lodge is a 3 bedroom lodge located on the Neum Crag estate set in stunning woodland with envious views across some of the most stunning Lake District scenery. Located close to the village of Ambleside and at the foot of the Langdale Valley, making it a perfect base in the Lake District. It also has the advantage of being a 5 minute walk from Chester's cafe which make some of the most amazing homemade cakes. Guest also have the advantage of an onsite swimming pool and just a short walk away is the village of elterwater with a great local pub serving some fantastic local ales.
Sitting amongst peaceful woodland between Ambleside and Coniston, you can enjoy many walks and cycling paths from your door. From the valley you can hike to England’s highest tarn, Jake’s Rake ridge and Scafell Pike. Nearby Ambleside has historic sites such as the Roman Fort, and Lake Windermere, where you can enjoy a lake cruise to Bowness or Lakeside, pub and restaurant 0.5 miles.
The lodge has an open plan kitchen dining and living area with patio doors that lead on to the deck and garden beyond. 3 bedrooms: 1 double, 1 twin, 1 bunk bedroom (For Children). Shower room.
The modern well-appointed kitchen consists of single oven/grill, ceramic hob, with extractor hood. The lodge benefits from a separate fridge and freezer allowing ample room for a families weekly shop. There is a filter coffee machine to enjoy the fresh taste of coffee in the morning, while sat out enjoying the views and listening to the abundant bird song.
In the living area there is ample seating with a large 3 seater, a 2 seater and a single chair with 2 foot stools and a coffee table. An electric wood burner-effect fire, a large electric heater, flat screen TV , Blu-Ray DVD, and Freeview Box. The lodge has Wi-Fi plenty of books DVDs and board games for when the weather is not so good.
The master bedroom has a double bed, wall mounted electric heater, bedside cabinets with radio alarm clock, double fitted wardrobes, dressing table and patio doors out onto the covered porch deck.
There is a twin bedroom with wall mounted heater, bedside cabinet, radio alarm clock and double fitted wardrobes.
The bunk bedroom consists of two single beds at a 90° angle suitable for children, with a large cupboard for storage.
A 3 piece suit in the bathroom includes shower cubicle, basin and toilet. An electric towel rail,shave point,mirror with light and wicker storage.
